Golden Globes Trend PURPLE!

Apparently the Golden Globes had a purple trend! Several actresses came dressed to the purples! Take a look! There are three dresses pictured all slightly different hues and styles. Which one is your favorite and why? I like the last two. Sandra Bullock’s dress is so flowingly beautiful, but I love the deep eggplant color of the one worn by Rose Byrne. Which do you like best?

Oooo, I get to be like one of those fashionista talking heads! lol I like Rose Byrne’s dress best because of the deep purple color and the overall lines of the dress (but what is that thing near her hand – ick!) I do NOT like the skeletal pained look of the actress. I love the flowing, classic cut of Sandra Bullock’s dress – so feminine. However, I don’t like that you can see through it. Modesty woman! I would have to have a deep purple satiny skirt the color of Jane’s dress sewn in underneath to make it great.
I agree with you Bobbi! I was thinking the same things. I find it interesting how so many wore that color though, don’t you? Purple rules!
I LOVE the color of all three, especially the third one, but I don’t like the tops of the dresses at all. I’m not a fan of strapless stuff, it looks rather silly to me. Sandra’s looks the best, Jane’s is weird, and Rose looks like she needs to be hospitalized and I cannot get past that.

I think the color is unanimous so far. We all seem to like the darker purples.
Sandra’s dress has got my vote. Reminds me of a plum princess.
