I stumbled across a link online that asked, “Why don’t countries have purple flags?” and I wondered, “Hey! Why don’t countries have purple flags?”
I started looking for online sources that showed the colors of country’s flags, but I’m not sure I understand if any do. According to Wikipedia, there are three countries that have purple in their flags, but some of them aren’t really countries:

- Flag of Dominica
- Flag of the International Brigades
- Flag of Málaga
- Flag of Montreal
- Flag of the Second Spanish Republic
