The American Cancer Society is hosting “Color Scott County Purple” in celebration of its 13th annual Relay For Life event. On May 1st, they will be contacting area groups, churches, and businesses to encourage community members. They are asking businesses and residents to show their support for the event by:
* Wearing something purple to work, school and around the community on Monday May 3.
* Decorating your home, office cubicle or business with anything purple that week.
* Giving a donation to the American Cancer Society
* Promoting the Relay on your social network sites (Facebook and Twitter).
